Sandy Dental is a family-owned dental practice located in the Flagler area of beautiful Miami. Our office opened its doors in 2009, following a move from a previous location. The doctor, Dr. Jorge F. Borges and his wife, Sandra Borges, have owned and managed Sandy Dental since opening day and they have over 20 years of experience owning and operating dental offices. At Sandy Dental, we believe that dentistry shouldn't be a production line. Many offices in Miami have created an environment where they churn out treatments and patients. Their waiting rooms are full to the brim and their staff barely have time to drink a sip of water, much less to engage with the patient. This goes against our philosophy. At Sandy Dental, we understand that the cost of dental treatments can be a burden on our patients. To help make dental care more accessible and affordable, we offer various financing options.
One common option is financing through Care Credit or Lending Club, where the total cost of treatment is divided into monthly payments. These companies can offer various options, such as no-interest financing for a certain period of time.
For our patients who do not wish to finance their treatment, or who may be unable to finance, we can provide some relief through the creation of custom payment plans that can split the cost of treatment over 2 or more visits. This means that instead of paying the full cost of treatment on your first visit, you may choose to spread it out over the course of the length of treatment (usually two visits, but sometimes more). This can help our patients to budget their dental care expenses more effectively.

DR. JORGE F. BORGES, DMD
Dr. Borges received his first dental degree from the University of Havana in July of 1980, followed by a specialty in prosthodontics. Upon moving to the US, he completed a second degree in dentistry at Nova Southwestern University, where he graduated with honors in the year 2000. He's been practicing dentistry for over 40 years and stays abreast of the latest technologies and advancements in the field, keeping an eye on the future.
His decades of experience translate to practical knowledge, which in turn allows him to provide his patients with the best level of care, performed with efficiency and their ultimate comfort in mind.
